The H. K. College of Pharmacy has organized a free seminar on ‘Career prospects after B.Pharm.’, on 23rd June 2018. The aim of the seminar was to make the students and their parents aware about the career options after completion of B. Pharm. course.

Mrs. Rachel Britto has given an introductory speech about the seminar.
Principal, Dr. Anubha Khale mainly focused on the importance of the Pharmacy profession. She briefly explained the global statistics of the pharmaceutical industry. HKCP faculties took great efforts behind explaining the various career options after B. Pharm/ M. Pharm/ PhD, they explained the role of pharmacists in various areas giving simple examples. This session mainly stressed on the various career options, which can be opt by any pharmacy student. Academics, Pharmaceutical Industry, Hospital Pharmacy, Health Authorities, Retail Pharmacy, Allied Industry, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Drug discovery etc. were some of the areas explained in detail to the audience. Technical Director, Dr. Vinaykumar Velingkar made the audience aware about the pharmacy profession and its wide scope.

Students were also told about the online and offline admission process. They were also made aware of the various scholarship schemes.
Technical Director, Dr. Vinaykumar Velingkar, Principal, Dr. Anubha Khale and other faculty members satisfactorily answered queries of parents and students, regarding B. Pharm admission, foreign education, scholarships, admissions in Government colleges, Deemed Universities, placement etc.
