The Parents Teachers Meeting was organized on 12th April 2019 for Parents of all B. Pharm students. Meeting was preceded by registrations of Parents. Ms. Parimal Kotkar gave a warm welcome to Parents and informed about the agenda of the meeting. She informed about College events, sports, cultural events, semester exam dates for theory and practical.
Dr. Archana Bele informed about the career guidance sessions and also about ongoing campus interviews and placements for final year students. She informed that in campus drive about 19 final year students were selected by different pharmaceutical companies like Cipla, Fresinus Kabi, TCS etc. Ms. Parimal Kotkar told about the Soft skill training Program by Rubicon is scheduled on 17th and 18th April 2019 for T.Y. B. Pharm and Final Y. B. Pharm students.
Dr. Reshma Tendulkar explained to Parents about summer training program and advised specially to the third-year parents, not to plan any vacation for their wards as they need to undergo training in summer. Ms. Parimal Kotkar informed about hospital visit which was conducted for first year B. Pharm students on 4th and 5th April 2019. Also she told that Medicinal garden visit is scheduled for S.Y.B. Pharm students on 16th April 2019.
Ms. Parimal Kotkar explained about the industrial visit which is planned for one day only and not for a week or 15 days. It was informed that if their wards are telling that college have arranged industrial visit for more than a day then parents should confirm it from office or from mentors of the ward. On this point Technical Director, Prof. (Dr.) V.S. Velingkar also elaborated and told that college will not take responsibility for the industrial visit which is more than a day. In question answer session parents asked their doubts to the Technical Director, Prof. (Dr.) V.S. Velingkar and PTA committee.
