Course Description
Maharashtra Educational Society’s H. K. College of Pharmacy offers 4 year full time degree course Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) for undergraduates which aims to develop skills in pharmacy along with functional specializations in order to impart practical knowledge. The course spans over eight semesters and at the end of every semester, there is an examination. After successful course completion one will be able to pursue a successful career in the specified field.

Admission to the B. Pharmacy program of Mumbai University is governed by the rules and regulations of Mumbai University and is as per norms of the Govt. of Maharashtra through the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET cell) and or NEET National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
Minimum qualification for admission into Bachelor of Pharmacy program would be according to the rules and regulations of CET Cell, DTE and Mumbai University in force at the time of admission.
ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR FIRST YEAR B. PHARMACY 2024-25.
Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate for Admission to First Year of Degree Course in Pharmacy.
- The candidate should be an Indian.
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually: “Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course”; or (iii)Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and (iv) The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority.
- The candidate should obtain non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority; Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2024.
Eligibility Criteria of Candidates who have Passed/Passing Diploma In Pharmacy And seeking admission to Second Year B. Pharmacy/ Semester III of Bachelor of Pharmacy (Lateral Entry to Second Year B. Pharm.)
(i)The candidate should be a citizen of India;
(ii) The candidate should have passed in D. Pharm. Course from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948); and (iii) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
