H. K. College of Pharmacy, every year organizes a seminar on CAREER PERSPECTIVE AFTER B. PHARM in an attempt to spread awareness about the pharmacy profession among youngsters and their parents. This year also the seminar registration was free and was open for all aspiring students and their parents. Since DTE has modified the admission process for the academic year 2016-17, parents and students were approaching the institute for various admission related doubts and queries. In the view of this scenario, this year HKCP decided to explain the admission procedure to students and their parents through this seminar.

As expected the response for the seminar was overwhelming. Total 72 students attended the seminar along with their parents on 11th June 2016 and 20 students on 25th June 2016. First session of the seminars comprised of the introduction to the Pharmacy profession. Principal, Dr. Anubha Khale mainly focused on the importance of the Pharmacy profession in terms of volumes and value. She briefly explained the global statistics of the pharmaceutical industry.

HKCP faculties took great efforts behind explaining the various career options after B. Pharm. This session mainly stressed on the following career options: Academics, Pharmaceutical Industry, Hospital Pharmacy, Health Authorities, Retail Pharmacy, Allied Industry, Entrepreneurship etc. Dr. Ritesh Fule, Asst. Professor, HKCP, then proceeded to the next session of the seminar where he explained the admission procedure as per DTE notification to the audience. Parents and students asked many questions at the end of both sessions, which were answered satisfactorily by Principal, Dr. Anubha Khale and other faculty members.
