Maharashtra Educational Society’s , H.K. College of Pharmacy has organized Two days Staff Development Program on ‘Good Laboratory Practices’ for non teaching staff ( Lab Assistants and Lab Attendants) on 14th and 15th June 2013.

The sessions on First day i.e. 14th June 2013 started with key note address by Dr. Anubha Khale, Principal, H. K. C. P. at 10:35 a. m. followed by presentations of faculty members on various topics covering GLP in detail.

Speakers and their topic for presentation on day 1 were as follows:

• Dr. Kamlesh Soni :‐ Working in a Laboratory
• Mrs.Jaya Agnihotri :‐ Student handling and Pharmaceutical Process handling
• Mrs. Archana Bele:‐ Use of Digital Balance and Calibration of Apparatus
• Mrs.Ojaswi Phalke :‐ Dilution of solutions and Use of Library
• Mr. Waseem Ahemad :‐ Animal handling and Tissue Handling
• Mrs. Parimal Kotkar:‐ File management and Use of First Aid
• Mrs. Sunayana Ghodgaonkar:‐ Safety Measures

Speakers and their topic for presentation on day 2 were as follows:

• Mr. YuvrajUnale:‐ InstrumentalHandling:UV‐Vis. Spectrometer
• Mr. Amol Borade :‐ Handling of Apparatus & Chemicals

The workshop was very much appreciated by the participant and they emphasized that they have learnt a lot from the workshop.
