Teaching faculty of H. K. College of Pharmacy, organized an orientation program for the current students of the Institute. The main objective of the program was to keep students oriented with respect to Institute policies which are laid down for the support and benefit of student’s educational goals.

Students were oriented on the Institute policies like Code of conduct for Students, rules for participating in competitions like Poster presentation in outside colleges, structure of student Council, participation in outside events like Rx, IPA Membership, Process of NBA Accreditation.

Students were also made aware about the current scholarship schemes and their benefits to students, overall result statistics of the Institute, names of Head of 5 departments of the Institute, importance and modification in the procedure for conducting tutorials classes, Mentoring system. Also, newly introduced system of ‘student’s Focused study group’ was explained during the session.

Information about some of the important committees from faculty along with important contact numbers were furnished during the presentation.Following are the committees covered during the session- Student grievance
Redressal Committee, Unfair Means Inquiry Committee, Anti-Ragging Committee.
