SEMINAR ON POWER OF SUBCONSCIOUNS MIND

Session started with focus on what is the basic difference between brain and mind. The subconscious mind is a second, hidden mind that exists within each one of us. It interprets and then acts upon the predominating thoughts that reside within conscious mind. The mandate of the subconscious is to attract circumstances and situations that match the images one has within. The subconscious mind is like deep fertile soil that accepts any seed you plant within it, habitual thoughts and beliefs are the seeds that are being constantly sown within, and they produce in your life what is sown.
The following steps were explained for becoming more happier, healthier and successful by achieving power of subconscious mind.
- Visualizations: simply mental rehearsal. You create images in your mind of your having or doing whatever it is you want. You repeat these images over and over again
- Affirmations: It works because whatever you verbally repeat to yourself will influence your thoughts.
- Acknowledging: It begins with searching for areas of your life where you are already successful.
- Eliminating negative thinking: Train your mind to think about what you want in life, and you avoid thinking about what you don’t want.
Session was followed by demonstration of affirmations. It was indeed fruitful and each one has lot of learning out of this activity
H.K. College of Pharmacy has been utilizing the platform of HKKB (HK Knowledge Base) for organizing seminars at Institute level as well as at National level. We conduct National Seminar once a year on wide variety of topics. Every year posters and papers, review and research based, are invited based on theme. So far it’s been one of the successful highlight of HKCP. We also take this opportunity for Industry and academia interaction, because such obvious kind of interaction does not occur in a structured manner, as both the sides maintain a distant relationship.
At institute level, the seminars are conducted mainly on the topic like higher education perspectives, career opportunities etc. for undergraduate students. For Master of Pharmacy current status or advances in pharma world is preferably being the theme of seminars.
HKCP believes in overall grooming of the student. General Seminars are organized on variety of topics for Third Year B.pharm Students to improve their presentation skills.
